Record-breaking rookie. Two-time state champion.

I started with nothing.
I built a new standard.

From sleeping couch to couch my senior year to breaking the company rookie record. I held the #1 rookie spot in the company all year. Now I’m building a team for people ready to change their own trajectory.

Real work. Commission-based opportunity. A conversation first.

Meet Tyas

Before the records,
there was a couch.

Back-to-back state championCollege pole vaulter#1 company rookie

My senior year, I wasn’t making money. I was sleeping couch to couch. I know what it feels like to want more from life without knowing exactly how you’re going to get there.

I’ve worked overnight shifts as a welder. In track, I won back-to-back state championships. As a freshman pole vaulter at Oregon Tech, I tied the school record. I also earned a track scholarship to Indiana Tech covering tuition.

Those experiences taught me to keep showing up, take coaching, and work through the days when progress is hard to see. I brought that same approach to selling pest control.

In my rookie season with Aptive, I broke the company rookie record and held the #1 rookie position in the company all year. That season included rejection, crowded neighborhoods, and 148 days on doors. The result came from staying in it and getting better.

I’m building a team for people who have a reason to change their circumstances. You don’t need my background. You need your own reason, a willingness to learn, and the commitment to put in the work.

I know what it feels like to start with nothing. That’s why this opportunity means more to me than a number on a leaderboard.

It isn’t a paycheck.

What you’ll be working on

A skill you build.
A standard you keep.

01 / COMMUNICATION

Learn to listen under pressure.

Start conversations, ask useful questions, and explain value clearly. Respect a homeowner’s decision and keep the interaction professional.

02 / CONSISTENCY

Do the reps when it’s hard.

Practice the pitch, review the day, and make adjustments. The work asks for patience through rejection and responsibility for your preparation.

03 / OWNERSHIP

Connect effort to a goal.

Come with a reason to work. Learn the compensation plan, track your production, and understand what has to happen for a sale to become earned commission.

The compensation conversation

Understand the deal
before you commit.

This is commission-based sales. Income varies with production, account retention, market, experience, and the terms of your agreement.

$204,000 in gross commission earned.

My personal season earnings, before taxes and expenses, include payouts still owed.

My commission: 58%.

My personal commission rate is 58% on a ladder pay scale. Your rate depends on the applicable bracket and the terms of your compensation agreement.

Ask for the current written plan.

We’ll talk through commission brackets, which accounts qualify, upfront payments, later payouts, and adjustments for cancellations.

Know the summer logistics.

Confirm market, dates, daily expectations, housing arrangements, travel costs, and any incentives before making a decision.

No earnings, housing, or incentive guarantees are made on this page.

The part that matters

Some days will
test your reason.

You’ll hear “no.” You’ll have conversations that go nowhere. You may work streets that other reps have already visited. There will be weather, fatigue, and days where the results don’t match the effort.

I’ve experienced that. If you’re looking for an easy paycheck, this opportunity deserves a harder look. If you’re willing to practice and adapt, let’s talk honestly about whether it fits you.

How to start
01

Start a conversation.

Tell me who you are and what you want from your next season.

02

Get the full picture.

Discuss the role, training, schedule, compensation, and costs. Bring your questions.

03

Decide if it fits.

Review the details before committing. A strong team starts with clear expectations.

Before you reach out

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Do I need sales experience?

Tell me about your background when you reach out. We can discuss what training looks like and whether the role fits your experience and goals.

How much will I make?

There isn’t a guaranteed figure. My revenue totals are individual results, not your expected earnings. Ask for the current compensation plan and review how qualifying production, cancellations, and payout timing affect commission.

Where and when would I work?

We’ll confirm the available market, season dates, and schedule during our conversation. Don’t make travel or housing plans until those details are settled.

Can I balance this with school or athletics?

Bring your academic and training schedule. We’ll discuss the actual time commitment so you can decide whether it works alongside your responsibilities.

Your next move

Bring your drive.
Let’s talk about
the opportunity.

You don’t need to have it all figured out.
Start with a conversation about your goals.
